About Me
My name is Mary Chris Foxworthy and I am the owner of Equifit. I have owned horses for over 45 years but my love affair with horses started long before that. My Grandfather owned one of the last creameries in the United States that still used horse-drawn milk wagons. The picture on the left is me with my Grandfather falling in love with "Tommy". Each grandchild had a horse to love - and mine was Tommy. This sparked my life-long passion for all things horse related. I bought my first horse with my first paycheck after graduating from college. The picture above of the little girl kissing a horse is that horse. His name was Regency and that is my daughter - falling in love with horses too! As our children were growing up, we saw the USA by competing at horse shows all across the country. One of our horses, HD Harkness (Hark), was even made into a Breyer model horse which provided the opportunity for us to meet horse lovers from all over the world at BreyerFest! Along with my husband, I still enjoy spending time with our horses (three Morgans and a PRE). Our bouncing Bearded Collie, two adult children and two grandchildren often join in the fun.
